Explore Beneath the Surface
This expedition takes place along Costa Rica’s Pacific coast in the Guanacaste region, where warm waters and nutrient-rich currents support an incredible diversity of marine life.
You’ll spend your days diving into these ecosystems, exploring volcanic rock formations and open water environments alongside experienced dive instructors and marine biologists. Observe sharks, rays, turtles, and other marine species while contributing to ongoing research and monitoring efforts.
Each dive offers a new perspective — from close encounters with marine wildlife to a deeper understanding of the ecosystems that support them.
Participants are required to have a minimum of an active Open Water scuba certification to join this expedition. For those who are not yet certified, there is also the option to add an Open Water training course to the beginning of the trip prior to the expedition activities.
When you’re not in the water, you’ll learn from experts, review findings, and experience coastal life in a relaxed beachside setting. With accommodations, transportation, select meals, and logistics coordinated for you, the experience is designed to let you focus fully on exploration, learning, and adventure.
