Costa Rica is home to more than 900 bird species, making it one of the most remarkable birding destinations in the world.

Led by an experienced naturalist guide, this guided birding adventure takes you through a variety of habitats, where you’ll learn how to identify birds by sight and sound while searching for some of Costa Rica’s most sought-after species. Depending on the location and season, sightings may include toucans, motmots, trogons, tanagers, honeycreepers, parrots, hummingbirds, hawks, and the iconic resplendent quetzal.

Along the way, your guide will share insights into bird behavior, ecology, migration, and the conservation efforts helping to protect these remarkable species and their habitats.

Whether you’re an avid birder looking to add new species to your life or simply love being immersed in nature, this experience offers unforgettable opportunity to observe wildlife in one of the world’s richest natural environments.

We offer airport transfers and transportation for Mondo tours and day trips in comfortable, air-conditioned vehicles driven by knowledgeable bilingual drivers. Our fleet accommodates up to 12 guests plus luggage, with transportation by bus, van, or 4×4 depending on the experience.
