Expedition

Expeditions start and end in Costa Rica’s capital city of San José, but the bulk of each trip takes place in the Las Nubes Biological Reserve and the surrounding Alexander Skutch Biological Corridor. Each expedition includes a mix of activities to provide a well-rounded experience:

Field Work: Explore the nature reserve and use monitoring techniques to collect ecological data.
Lectures: Learn about different topics in tropical ecology and conservation.
Cultural Activities: Meet local community members and learn how people work and live in this part of Costa Rica.
Fun Days: Every day is fun, but on designated days participants take part in guided excursions to nearby natural tourist attractions.
