Most travel experiences show you the world.
Mondo lets you engage with it.
We offer immersive eco-expeditions designed around conservation, education, and community — giving you the opportunity to step into real-world environmental work while exploring some of the most biodiverse places on the planet.
Instead of observing from the sidelines, you’ll contribute to meaningful projects like wildlife monitoring, habitat restoration, and ecological research.
Because the most powerful way to care about the planet…
is to experience it firsthand.
The values that shape every expedition, partnership, and experience at Mondo.
We design every expedition to directly support environmental protection — so your experience contributes to real impact on the ground.
Gain hands-on experience and practical skills through real research and fieldwork.

Meaningful conservation work doesn’t happen in isolation. That’s why Mondo partners with researchers, conservation organizations, educators, and local communities working directly within Costa Rica’s ecosystems.
These partnerships help ensure every expedition contributes to initiatives that support wildlife protection, environmental research, education, and long-term sustainability.
See why travelers describe their experience with Mondo as eye-opening, meaningful, and unforgettable.
